Ingredients

  • 6 cups apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare Apples: In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Spread them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • Make the Crumble: In another bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, melted butter, and pecans until crumbly.
  • Assemble & Bake: Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the apples, then sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and apples are tender.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Remove from the oven, drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce, and serve warm. Top with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate treat!

Notes

For extra crunch, add more chopped pecans to the crumble. To make it dairy-free, swap butter for coconut oil and serve with dairy-free ice cream. Try different apple varieties for a sweeter or more tart flavor.
