Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen raspberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Optional: Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water, heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, then remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Blend frozen raspberries, simple syrup, chopped mint, and lemon juice in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  • Pour the raspberry mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • If using a Ninja Creami, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for making sorbet, or pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 1-2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until it reaches a sorbet texture.
  • Scoop the sorbet into bowls or cups, garnish with fresh mint leaves, and serve immediately or keep frozen until ready to enjoy.

Notes

For a smoother texture, strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve before chilling to remove raspberry seeds. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or honey, depending on your taste preference. Pair with fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, or a sprinkle of dark chocolate for extra indulgence.
